Hold Your Leadership Teams Accountable for Improvement- Generate actionable improvement plans based on survey results and easily monitor progress There is a disconnect between all of the critical survey data that healthcare organizations constantly collect - from patients, physicians, employees, and the community - and what they do with that all that data to rapidly and consistently improve the organization. The new HealthStream Improvement Center provides an easy-to-use framework to act on opportunities for improvement identified by your research results. You and your team can capture and communicate strategic goals, actions, and performance targets. You can quickly review or assign accountability for each plan component. You can quickly review or distribute color-coded dashboards to call attention to areas of concern and achievement. Goals and actions can reside within any specific area of the organization—such as a single hospital or department—and roll-up to a corporate view. You can see what the latest survey data says about your improvement. You can adjust and improve - organization-wide. Click here to link to the official press release. Return to top

Special Promotion! Receive 25% Off the HealthStream Preparedness Center if Purchased by April 1, 2010
There’s no way to know when disaster may strike. Being inadequately prepared can make things even worse. If you sign up for the HealthStream Preparedness Center, powered by DIMS, by Thursday, April 1, 2010, you will receive 25% off the regular price of this powerful disaster management tool. The Joint Commission requires every hospital to have a disaster plan in place. Many rely on bulky printed binders that are slow to use, making responders less agile and costing precious time. The HealthStream Preparedness Center allows healthcare organizations to move their emergency preparedness online, allowing for time and cost savings, as well as greater effectiveness. In an emergency, response time is one of the most critical components. NIMS Required Training - Comply with Federal Training Requirements for Emergency Preparedness and Disaster Response
If you receive federal preparedness response grants, your hospital must be compliant with the National Incident Management System (NIMS) courseware yearly training requirements. HealthStream has partnered with Yale New Haven Center for Emergency Preparedness and Disaster Response to distribute a two-course package focused on emergency preparedness for healthcare workers. The courses focus on Incident Command System (ICS) and a healthcare workers role in providing continuous care for existing and additional patients in the event of an emergency. Successful completion of these courses covers the NIMS training requirement of four FEMA courses. Ensure your hospital is compliant with NIMS.
