Public reporting of HCAHPS results has begun on the Hospital Compare website (http://www.hospitalcompare.hhs.gov). For public reporting purposes, the six composite scores, the two individual items and the two global items are displayed. There are both national and state comparisons for each of the reported results. In addition, the number of surveys completed (in three broad categories) and the survey response rate are also reported for each participating hospital.  This website also displays information on Hospital Outcome of Care Measures. New HCAHPS Executive Insight Page on www.hcahpsonline.org

A new feature has been added to www.hcahpsonline.org: HCAHPS Executive Insight. HCAHPS Executive Insight (HEI) is a web page designed to provide concise and timely information (such as a summary of publicly reported HCAHPS results) directly to hospital executives, healthcare executives, and others who share an interest in improving hospital quality. HEI can be conveniently accessed through a new button on the left-hand navigation bar of www.hcahpsonline.org, or you can directly access it at http://www.hcahpsonline.org/executive_insight/default.aspx.  HCAHPS Executive Insight is the first source for summary HCAHPS results. In addition, this page allows CMS to directly convey key HCAHPS dates and deadlines, top-line summaries of analytic articles and presentations on HCAHPS, and other information of special pertinence to hospital executives.
